DEBORAH ROGERS

After qualifying from The British School of Osteopathy, London in 1989, I worked in practices in Amersham and Abingdon before establishing Marlow Osteopathic Clinic in 1990.  I also took on an existing osteopathic practice in Wantage, Oxfordshire in 1991 and developed this into a multi-disciplinary clinic.

Marlow Osteopathic Clinic moved to The Doctors' House in Marlow in 1993 where I was joined by Caroline Baker.  After 21 years of being based at Marlow's only doctors’ surgery, the clinic moved to Taylor House in Marlow High Street.  The clinic continued to evolve and in February 2019 we had the opportunity to relocate Marlow Osteopathic Clinic to The Marlow Club.

We are really enjoying being part of the Marlow Health team at the club and work alongside other therapists to deliver MSK services (musculoskeletal services) covering the patient's needs.  Our comprehensive services involve looking after our patients from their initial consultation and diagnosis to treatment with rehabilitation.  We work with our MSK team if referrals are required for further diagnostic testing and treatment.  This includes ultrasound scans and injection therapy which can all be arranged with our experienced practitioners on site.

I specialise in treating sports injuries and apart from working within the clinical environment, I have been the osteopath and sports injury practitioner for Wantage RUFC and Marlow RUFC from 1993 to 1999. During this time, I have also worked for The Scottish Exiles Rugby Union team and the England Rugby Union team. My other sports injury experience includes treating members of the British Modern Pentathlon Team and travelling with them to Basel, Switzerland in 1995 for the Modern Pentathlon World Championship as an osteopath to the men's and women's teams.

Together with my colleague, Caroline Baker, we have collectively over 70 years of osteopathic expertise.

CAROLINE BAKER

I qualified from The British School of Osteopathy, London in 1990 and for the following two years held various locum and associate positions in a variety of osteopathic practices in and around the London area.  In November 1992 I took a six-month sabbatical and was based in the French Alps developing my passion for skiing as a ski guide for Neilson.  On my return from France in 1993 I joined Deborah as an associate osteopath for Marlow Osteopathic Clinic.

In 1997 I took on a role as manager for The Maple Clinic in Bracknell where I developed the business to form a multi-disciplinary clinic.  An opportunity arose in 1999 that allowed me to join the NHS at the King Edward VII Hospital in Windsor where I became part of the team treating muscular-skeletal problems in the Acute Back Pain Clinic. I worked at the hospital until 2004 when I left to have my twin daughters. I have a keen interest in treating sports injuries and have worked with many local rugby, football and hockey teams and ice-skaters. I have also looked after the Ballet Rambert students in Chiswick whilst working in Isleworth.

'Debbie Rogers is absolutely amazing, looks after me very well from head to foot. I have been seeing Debbie for many years and she is extremely professional and an excellent osteopath.'

- Therese I, Yell Review

'I immediately found Debbie friendly and helpful and at my first consultation, she gave me a comprehensive diagnosis of my spinal problem. She explained clearly how she could help it and gave me exercises I could do to alleviate the pain. Her experience and knowledge is shown when she goes straight to the area of concern and helps to rectify it. Debbie's professional manner, skill and expertise have given me great confidence that my spinal pain will improve. I have recommended Debbie to friends and will continue to do so.
